IWD is looking for a Senior Magento Backend Developer. It is required to be Magento 2 certified, have more than 3 years of experience and have work examples to share with our team.

This role is required to be available during US Central Standard time, 9am-5pm.

Duties/Responsibilities

Coding and debugging
Write code from scratch
Collaborate with DevOps, Frontend & Backend Developers
Provide regular status reports on project progress
Define and communicate technical and design requirements
Manage junior developers
Stay up to date with current coding best practices
Provide estimates for feature requests

Conversant or better in English
JavaScript, HTML5, CCS, PHP, JSON
Ajax and jQuery libraries

Advanced programming skills in core PHP 7.3+ is required
Knowledge of Git, MySQL, Nginx / Apache, Composer, Javascript, and CSS (SASS and LESS)
Experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP)

Knowledge of PHP coding standards (PSR)
Strong code auditing and code review ability

Education and Experience

Magento Certification (Required)
3+ years Magento experience (Required)
Bachelors degree preferred
