IWD is looking for a PPC Specialist ninja with expert-level skills on Google Ads and Bing Ads. You'll be managing PPC ad accounts for companies ranging from mid-tier eCommerce businesses to global corporations, so large budgets and complicated advertising accounts along the challenges they present should excite you. This role is part strategist, part implementation expert, and part project manager. You'll need all three skills to excel in this role. But above all, you should be a true PPC expert and able to wow with your nerdy understanding of PPC ad platforms, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump into ad accounts to make magic happen.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of increasing sales and brand recognition across multiple channels. You should be familiar with Magento, and proficient in:
Certifications Desired: Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics.
Cool Skills To Have: HTML/JS (at least enough to know what is happening in the code, even if you can't code it yourself), Landing Page Platforms (Instapage, etc), Call Platforms: Call Rail, DialogTech, etc
Tools That Would be Helpful: Google Sheets/ Excel, Google Presentations, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads Editor, SEM Rush, aHrefs, WordStream (but not reliant on it), Photoshop, Instapage
Business Acumen: Understanding budgets and resource allocation, Understanding product segmentation and cyclical/season products, Understanding buyer persona and audience segmentation
Types of Campaigns you'll be working with: Shopping, Search (ranging from straight eCommerce, Lead Gent to Call Only), Display, Retargeting
Strategy/Planning: You must be able to design the framework for PPC campaigns from scratch while also taking broken campaigns and "fixing" them. This requires A+ communication and project management skills in order to understand the client's business and objectives, then to design a strategy for achieving those goals according to your agreed upon KPIs and core metrics. You must be able to bring new and fresh ideas to tackle complicated situations in which external budgets and client resource allocation can be challenging.
Implementation: You must be able to actually build out and implement your PPC ideas and to execute with expert-level proficiency and attention to detail. Whether building campaigns from scratch or optimizing existing campaigns on an iterative basis...This requires knowing ad platforms like the back of your hand, you should be able to deftly build and manage campaigns from within the browser and on Google Ads Editor. Knowledge of best practices for achieving high ad rank and maximizing impression share via different bid strategies, campaign structures, etc. will be helpful.
Attribution: You must be able to help the client understand the impact of your work. This requires understanding both straight ecommerce and offline conversion tracking setup and implementation. From setting up conversion goals and tracking KPIs, both on a technical set up and practical implementation level, showing clients their ROI is important.
Your Experience and Work Style:
Background in an Agency setting or managing multiple ad accounts with various objectives is a plus. Demonstrable experience in managing ad accounts with large budgets is highly preferred. You must be VERY HIGHLY ORGANIZED and able to juggle and manage multiple tasks at once. You must be able to effectively communicate your vision and work to clients and internally.
The PPC Specialist will be responsible for driving traffic and sales for our clients while maintaining and building positive relationships with them.
